‘Farhan Saeed wanted to become Atif Aslam’

Farhan Saeed was a Pakistani singer and songwriter who was one of the founding members of the popular rock band Jal along with Atif Aslam and Goher Mumtaz in 2002. The band gained popularity with their critically acclaimed songs such as "Dil Haray Pukaray," "Sajni," "Aadat," and "Woh Lamhe."

However, after the release of their album "Jal" in 2006, Farhan Saeed decided to pursue a solo career. The reason behind his departure from Jal band was not publicly disclosed at that time. However, it is believed that he wanted to become Atif Aslam and had been working towards developing his own unique style of music.

Atif Aslam, on the other hand, continued with Jal band until 2013 when he decided to pursue a solo career as well. Goher Mumtaz remained with Jal band until 2015 when he also left to focus on his solo career.

It is worth noting that Farhan Saeed's decision to leave Jal band was not an easy one, and it was a difficult time for the band as they had to find new members to replace him. However, the band continued to release music and remained popular until their breakup in 2013.
