17-year-old high school student shot, killed in Robeson County

On Tuesday at approximately 10:58 p.m., Robeson County deputies were called to Downy Road in Rowland, North Carolina, in response to a report of an individual who had been shot. Upon arrival, the deputies discovered the body of Kaden Strickland, a 17-year-old male from Pembroke, who had been killed by gunshot wounds. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are currently under investigation and further details have not been released at this time.
