The court documents related to Epstein's case were released in 2015 as part of a defamation lawsuit brought by Virginia Giuffre against Ghislaine Maxwell.

Giuffre had accused Maxwell of recruiting her into Epstein's sex trafficking operation and facilitating her abuse at the hands of Epstein and other high-profile individuals. The court documents included testimony from witnesses who claimed to have seen Giuffre with Clinton, DiCaprio, and other celebrities at Epstein's properties in Palm Beach, Florida.

The documents also revealed that Epstein had paid Giuffre $150,000 as part of a settlement after she accused him of sexual assault. However, the documents did not provide any evidence to support Giuffre's claims that Clinton or DiCaprio were involved in her abuse.

It is important to note that Epstein was convicted of sex trafficking and soliciting prostitution in 2015 and died by suicide in jail while awaiting trial on additional charges in 2019. Maxwell has been charged with multiple counts of sex trafficking and is currently awaiting trial.
