Bushfire prediction tool can simulate dangerous ember showers and fire-generated thunderstorms

A new fire simulator tool being developed by the CSIRO can predict some of the most dangerous bushfire behaviours, and there are hopes it will be a game-changer for firefighters and forecasters alike.
