Chef Jason Neroni Returns to Unveil a Reimagined Paloma Restaurant in Venice

Chef Jason Neroni, a renowned culinary figure in Los Angeles, is set to unveil the revamped Paloma restaurant in the heart of Venice on July 3, 2023. The restaurant, which was previously known for its Mediterranean-inspired dishes, is undergoing an exciting transformation into a desert-inspired California-Mediterranean eatery.

Neroni, who gained fame for his innovative approach to Mediterranean cuisine at his former restaurant Rose Café in Venice, is no stranger to the local food scene. He left Rose Café in 2019 to focus on other projects but has now returned to the neighborhood with an intriguing new concept for Paloma.

The desert-inspired theme is an ode to the arid landscapes of the Southwestern United States and the Mediterranean. The menu will feature a unique fusion of flavors from these two distinct regions, promising a dining experience that is both familiar and unexpected.

The revamped Paloma will offer an extensive selection of dishes that showcase the best of both worlds. Expect to find dishes like grilled cactus tacos with pico de gallo and queso fresco, or perhaps a Mediterranean-style lamb kebab with harissa and pomegranate molasses. The restaurant will also offer an impressive selection of vegetarian and vegan options, ensuring that there is something for everyone.

The interior of the restaurant will undergo a similar transformation, with a warm and inviting desert aesthetic that includes earthy tones, natural materials, and desert-inspired artwork. The space will be designed to create an immersive dining experience that transports guests to the sun-soaked landscapes of the Southwest and the Mediterranean.

Paloma's new location is at 1427 Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, just a short walk from the beach. The restaurant will be open for dinner service seven days a week, with brunch service on the weekends. Reservations are now being accepted on the OpenTable app or by calling the restaurant directly at (310) 399-9555.

Chef Neroni's return to Venice and the unveiling of the reimagined Paloma is an exciting development for the local food scene. With its unique fusion of desert-inspired California and Mediterranean flavors, the restaurant is sure to be a must-visit destination for food lovers in the area.
